How do you play QB Rings?
Set the rings in the middle of the field and stand behind the throw line. Throw the football through a ring, and your teammate on the other side makes the catch. A throw only scores if it goes through a ring and is caught. See the quick how-to.
How does scoring work?
- Large ring (Checkdown): 1 point
- Medium ring (Bullet): 2 points
- Small ring (Dime): 3 points
- Dropped ball (Incomplete): 0 points
If the ball hits a ring and is still caught, it counts. No points if the ball is thrown from in front of the line, hits the ground before the catch, the receiver reaches through the rings, or there's contact with the other team.
How do you win?
The first team to score exactly 21 wins. Go over 21 and those points come off your score. Both teams get the same number of turns, so if the first team hits 21, the other team gets one last round to tie.
What happens in a tie?
Overtime is a race to 7: scores reset, and the first team to exactly 7 wins. Still tied? Each team gets one round, and the most points wins. Repeat as needed.
How many players?
The standard game is 2 vs 2, with one teammate on each side of the rings. You can also play 1-on-1, where no catch is required.
How far back is the throw line?
21 feet from the rings, about 7 big steps. Move it up for younger players or newer arms. No tape? A towel, cooler or backpack works; just agree on it before the game starts.
Does the game come with a football?
Yes. Every QB Rings game comes with one blue QB Rings football, so you can play right out of the box.
Can I add more footballs?
Yes. QB Rings footballs come in red and blue. Add a red one so each team throws its own color. A second ball also unlocks Scramble Mode, where both teams throw at the same time.

We currently ship within the United States.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on orders of $70 or more. Under $70, standard shipping is $8. Express shipping is also available at checkout.
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days. You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is on its way. See our Shipping Policy for details.
